Dr. Anand Subramanyam has had the privilege of excellence of training in Ophthalmology during his Residency training at KEM Hospital, followed by Super-specialty training in Vitreoretinal diseases and Surgery at the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya Institute in Chennai, the premier eye institute of India. During his 2 years stay in Chennai he has been exposed to a myriad of Vitreo-retinal cases and performed numerous Diagnostic and Surgical Procedures. Subsequently he has developed, refined and improved his skills in Vitreoretinal Surgery and Lasers through his wide experience in private practice over the last few years. He underwent further training at the L.V.Prasad Eye Institute at Hyderabad in the extremely critical field of Retinopathy of Prematurity. To upgrade his skills, he also spent some time under the world renowned Dr Stanley Chang in the Colombia University at New York, USA.
He has presented and participated in various Conferences and Workshops.

Performs complex Vitreoretinal procedures for management of difficult cases.
Specializes in treatment of Retinopathy of Prematurity in pre-term infants.
Performs various Laser procedures using slit lamp, indirect, endolaser and G-Probe with a) Argon / Green laser b) Diode laser and c) Nd:YAG laser.
Competent in anterior & posterior segment Photography, Fluorescein and Indocyanine Green Angiography.
B scan Ultrasound exams for ophthalmic diagnosis.
Has experience in advanced laser procedures like TTT ,PDT & intravitreal injections of Lucentis, Macugen & Avastin.
